Diesen Baumrindenturm habe ich als Dekoration ins Beet gestellt, und prompt hat sich eine Perlhyazinthe hineingesät. … I put this little tower of tree bark into a flowerbed as decoration, and a muscari sowed itself into it.
Ich bin mal gespannt, wie sich der Mai entwickelt … auf allen Ebenen.
Wie ihr bereits aus dem Titel ersehen könnt, ist es dieses Mal nur eines. Im Dezember hat sich nicht viel getan, und das Wetter war so ungemütlich, dass wir kaum aus dem Haus gingen, selbst wenn die Dänen sagen „Es gibt keine schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Bekleidung“.

In diesem Monat haben wir nicht viele Ausflüge gemacht, weil wir ja den stundenlangen Aufenthalt in Notaufnahmen und Ambulatorien des Aalborger Krankenhauses vorzogen. Wir sind daher nur in der näheren Umgebung gewesen. Meinem Mann geht es wesentlich besser, aber seine Unterlippe und Umgebung sind immer noch gefühllos. Die Ärzte meinen, dass das entweder gar nicht besser wird oder nur sehr langsam. Im Vergleich dazu, dass wir bei dem Vorfall auf der Autobahn beide glaubten, seine letzte Stunde hätte geschlagen, sind wir sehr dankbar für den Status quo.
… This month we were not on many excursions, as we seemed to prefer hours and hours in emergency rooms and outpatient clinics of Aalborg hospital. So we have only been in the nearest surroundings. My husband is much better, but his lower lip and the surrounding areas are still completely numb. The physicians say that he might not get rid of the numbness at all, or if he does, it will take a really long time. In comparison to what we thought was happening on the motorway, when we thought his last hour had come, we are very greatful for the status quo.

Ich bin etwas verspätet, weil wir von Freitag bis Montag in Kopenhagen bei Freunden waren. Die Wochenendbeiträge hatte ich vorbereitet. Der Januar war ziemlich ereignisreich, mit kleineren und einem grossen Sturm, der an der Westküste teilweise zum Orkan wurde. Am Sonntag habe ich ein Video gemacht vom Hafen. Der schlimmste Sturm war da schon überstanden, aber ihr werdet sehen …

Ich hatte ganze 10 Stück für den Monat Juli und konnte mich nur von zweien trennen, da müsst ihr durch … 😉 🙂 Da sind natürlich Pflanzen und Natur, aber auch ein witziges Bild, wie ich finde.

And look at all the great motorbikes, and to the left on the first floor you will see Superman. What more can one want? Ich glaube dies ist mein eigentlicher Liebling. Das Foto strahlt (für mich) so viel Serenität aus. … I think this is my most favourite one. This photo emanates such a serenity (in my eyes).
Nun ist der Juli auch schon wieder vorbei. Er war sehr heiss und bei uns jedenfalls sehr trocken. Die letzten zwei Tage hat es endlich geregnet. Ich hoffe und bete, dass der August viel Regen in Kanada und Nordamerika bringt, damit die bestehenden Brände gelöscht und neue nicht entstehen können. Aber bitte keinen Regen mehr in Rheinland-Pfalz!!!
… So, that was July. It was hot and – in our place at least – very dry. The last two days we finally got some rain. I hope and pray, that the month of August will bring a lot of rain to Canada and Northamerica, so that the existing wildfires can be fought successfully, and new ones will not arise. But, please, no rain anymore for Rheinland-Pfalz!!!
