Auf YouTube habe ich ein russisches Video gesehen wo man alle möglichen tollen Dinge mit Flaschen macht. Ich habe aber nur besondere Flaschen aufbewahrt; besonders entweder wegen ihrer Form oder weil sie ein Wappen oder ähnliches ins Glas gepresst haben. So habe ich welche mit einem Wappen mit zwei Einhörnern, eine französische Lilie, Pferde und Kraniche. Deshalb möchte ich eigentlich nur das Vorhandene etwas betonen und nicht die Flaschen ganz überkleistern. Vielleicht mache ich so etwas mal mit ungefärbten Glasflaschen.

… On YouTube a watched a Russian video, in which they showed all kinds of fancy stuff how one could decorate bottles. However, I only keep special bottles, special because of their shape or because there is a shield of arms or similar pressed into the glass. I have bottles with a coat of arms with two unicorns, a French lily, horses and cranes. Therefore, I only wish to accentuate what is already there, and not cover the entire bottles with other material. Maybe I will do something like that with simple transparent bottles one day.

Ich benutze diese schlanken Flaschen als Blumenvasen. Wenn ich Blumen im Garten habe, setze ich ein oder zwei Blütenstiele in eine Flasche und stelle sie in Gruppen von drei oder fünf zusammen. Ich mag den Effekt.

… I use these slim bottles as vases. When I have flowers in the garden, I put one or two stilks in one bottle and group them 3 or 5 together. I like the effect.

Auch habe ich zwei kleine Rosen käuflich erworben, hatte aber keine passenden Übertöpfe. Da fiel mir der ein den ich letztes Jahr aus einem Plastikgefäss gemacht habe, der ursprünglich eine ganze geschälte Ananas enthalten hatte. Die Grösse passte. Dieser erste entstand aus der Neugierde, ob die Farben, die ich gekauft hatte, wohl auf Plastik haften würden. Sie tun es, widerstrebend, man muss nachbessern. Und dann wollte ich eines der Weinflaschenwappen in Modellierton abdrücken und dem allem etwas Antikes verleihen. Das ist mir nicht ganz geglückt, aber weil der Topf draussen stand und Regen abbekommen hat, sieht er doch zumindest mitgenommen aus. 😉

… I also have bought two miniature roses, but didn’t have the right size cover pot. Then I remembered that last year I had made one from a plastic container, that originally contained a whole pealed pineapple. The size fit. This first pot was created because I wanted to test whether the paints that I had bought would stick on plastic. They do, reluctantly, one has to touch it up. And then I made a cast from one of the shield of arms on a wine bottle to give this pot an antique touch. It didn’t really work out that way, but the pot has been standing outside in wind and weather, so that it at least looks a bit battered. 😉

Es ist ein bisschen windschief geworden, da muss ich noch etwas üben, aber immerhin besser als einfach nur ein durchsichtiger Plastiktopf … 😉

… It turned out a bit askew, I will have to get better with that kind of thing, but in any case it is better than just a transparent plastic pot … 😉

Ich habe ja letztes Jahr mehrere Bilder kreiert, wo ich Fotos und Naturmaterialien gemischt habe. Dann habe ich bei Frau Meermond etwas gesehen, was meine Fantasie beflügelt hat, nämlich einen Bilderrahmen mit was drin und aus dem Bilderrahmen ragt eine Art Plattform heraus, wo man was Passendes draufstellen kann (in ihrem Fall war es eine Kerze).

… Last year I have produced some pictures, in which I combined photos with natural material. And then I saw something at Mrs Meermond’s place (another blogger), which triggered my phantasy, and that was a frame with some item inside, and protruding from it was a kind of platform, on which one could place something suitable (a candle in her case).

Ich habe zwei Ideen dazu, aber die zweite ist etwas komplizierter und wird noch etwas dauern. Ich muss erst noch die richtigen Materialien finden. Hier das Ergebnis der ersten Idee:

Das Hintergrundbild stammt von unserem Camping-Urlaub am Mariager-Fjord. Anstelle der kleinen Plastikgefässe, die ich zu Blumenkästen machen wollte, habe ich Steine genommen und damit ein Motiv vom Foto aufgegriffen.

… The background photo is from our camping trip to the Mariager fjord. Instead of the small plastic containers, which I wanted to use as flower boxes, I chose stones and picked up a topic from the photo.

Ich habe noch mehr Ideen, aber ich kann leider nicht alles auf einmal machen. Und da wird von den Quantis (Quantenphysikern) immer behauptet, dass Zeit eine Illusion sei. 😉 (nur ein Spass)

… I have more ideas, but I cannot do everything at the same time. And the Quantos (quantum physicists) claim that time is only an illusion 😉  (just joking).

So, jetzt gehe ich „Wild World“ üben, unser 26. Musikstück. Wir können bald einen ganzen Abend füllen … 😉 … wir haben eine lange Liste mit Musik, die wir einüben wollen, und täglich kommt etwas Neues hinzu. Ich fürchte, dass Donovan in der Zwischenzeit auf der Strecke geblieben ist … 😉 … nichts für ungut, Donovan!

… So, now I will go and practice „Wild World“, our 26th song. We can soon cover an entire evening … 😉 … we have a long list with music that we would like to arrange and play, and every day we add more. I am afraid that Donovan in the meantime fell by the wayside … 😉 … no hard feelings, Donovan!
