I got this little tree from my neighbour. The flowers are hanging, therefore the awkward perspective. It could be an almond tree, what do you think?

Ich habe meine Maispflanzen umgetopft, denn die kamen schon mit den dicken Wurzeln durch die Löcher am Boden der Töpfe. Ich habe die neuen gleich etwas grösser gewählt, denn ich will die vor dem Auspflanzen nicht noch einmal umziehen müssen. So viel Umstand für etwas Mais, aber wir lieben den frisch von der Pflanze.
… I have rehoused my maize/corn plants, as they were already sending their thick roots through the holes at the bottom of the pots. For the new ones I choose them bigger right away (the pots), as I don’t want to have to do it once again before planting them out (the plants). 😉 A lot of effort for a tiny bit of maize/corn, but we love the cobs fresh from the plant.
