Wenn man glaubt, man kennt eine Stadt … When one thinks, one knows a town

Wir waren ja schon oft in Løgstør, eine unserer Lieblingsstädte am Limfjord. Dieses Mal gingen wir auf dem Hinweg durch die Stadt, um vor dem Wind geschützt zu sein und fanden einen Fussweg zur Anhöhe, wo die Häuser mit der schönsten Aussicht stehen. Wir waren zu Radtouren, Spaziergängen, Kunstfunden, Museum, Kunstgalerie und der Windjammer-Regatta „Limfjord rund“ dort.

… We have been to Løgstør many times before, it is one of our favourite places at the Limfjord, This time we chose to walk through town on our way out for wind protection, and we found a path up to the hill, where the houses with the best view are situated. We were there for bicycle tours, walks, art discoveries, museum, art gallery and the windjammer regatta „Limfjord rund“.

Als Erstes stiessen wir auf den Pavillon Christiansminde, was ein Restaurant zu sein scheint, aber zu dem Zeitpunkt geschlossen war. Man kann den Pavillon auch für Feste und Konferenzen mieten.

… The first thing right on top that we saw was the pavilion Christiansminde, which seems to be a restaurant, but was closed at the time. It is possible to rent the pavilion for celebrations and conferences.

Beim Weitergehen verwandelte sich der asphaltierte Weg in einen Grasweg, und wir entdeckten ein ganzes Netz von kleinen Fusswegen am Hang entlang und in einen kleinen Wald hinein, sowie eine Treppe zur Stadt hinunter, die uns vorher noch nie aufgefallen war.

… When walking on, the asphalt path changed into a grass path, and we discovered an entire net of small footpaths along the hill and into a small wool area, as well as a staircase down to the town, which we had never noticed befored

Alle Wege trafen sich dann irgendwie am Kanal. Die Aussicht von dort oben war wirklich schön.

… All paths came together somehow down at the canal. The view from up there was really beautiful.

Ein letztes Foto. Der „Strand“ besteht zu 99% aus Muscheln, daher sind dort auch nie sehr viele Menschen versammelt. Wenn man sich jetzt umdreht, blickt man auf den Ort, nur der Kanal liegt dazwischen. Kann die Lage besser sein?

… A last photo. The „beach“ consists to 99 % of shells and mussels, that is why there are never many people „agglomerated“. If you turn around from here, you look at the town, only separated from it by the canal. Could the location be any better?

Diese Stadt wird für uns immer interessanter! Wenn ihr mal nach Løgstør kommen solltet, lohnt sich nicht nur der Spaziergang am Kanal, man kann – neben vielem anderen – auch gerne mal nach oben schauen. 😉

… This town is getting more and more interesting to us! If you should visit Løgstør, not only a walk along the waterfront is worth the while, among many other things, you might want to look up as well. 😉
