Dieser Wahnsinn geschah schon in meiner Jugend vor 44 Jahren und länger. In der Zwischenzeit bekamen die Ureinwohner Rechte zugesprochen, und was hat sich geändert? Nichts, absolut gar nichts, im Gegenteil, es ist schlimmer geworden. Lasst uns Gold boykottieren!

Das ist so traurig. Über dieses Volk habe ich viele Jahre in Erdkunde unterrichten müssen. Wie scheinheilig, wo sich doch wirklich keiner um echten Schutz dieser Menschen schert! Hauptsache, alles rausholen aus dem Regenwald, was geht. Quecksilber, Mord und Brandschatzung. Gold ist in viel Technik. Da kann ich nicht so großen Einfluss nehmen, was den Boykott angeht. Aber beim Schmuck und Zahnersatz. Da schaffe ich das ganz leicht. Ich bin tatsächlich gegen Gold allergisch. Die Fotos und Testergebnisse waren damals sogar in einer medizinischen Zeitung. Doch auch ohne Allergie würde ich Schmuck reduzieren. Es gibt genug Schmuck, den man auftragen kann. Omas Sachen glitzern auch heute gut genug.

Ja, das mit dem Gold in der Technik macht mir auch Sorgen, denn in den zukünftigen Quantumcomputern wird auch viel Gold enthalten sein. Ich verstehe nicht, dass man die Ressourcenfrage nicht mit einbezieht bei der Forschung. Das ist irgendwie so einfach blind drauf los was funktioniert, aber nicht, ob das umwelt- und menschenfreundlich ist.
