Wir haben einen Sonnenschirm für die Terrasse gekauft. Auf der Mittelstange sass eine Schutzkappe aus Styropor, und als ich die abnahm, war mein erster Gedanke „Hundekorb“. Ein Idee war geboren! Im Video erzähle ich auf Deutsch, wie ich den gemacht habe, daher ist der Lesetext hier nur auf Englisch. 😉
… We have bought a parasol for the terrace. On the middle pole was a styrofoam cap for protection, and when I took it off, my first thought was „dog basket“. An idea was born! In the video I am explaining, how I made it, therefore the reading text is only in English. 😉
… First I cut the front of the styrofoam cap a bit lower, as dog baskets are lower at the front. Then I found a plushy yarn and crocheted a cover in four parts and sewed them together.
Then I tried to make a little pug lying on his back from air drying clay, but it looked like a mummified monkey … so I found a ready made one at a place that sells stuff for fairy gardens.
Dieser süsse kleine Kerl wohnt jetzt bei der Schwester meines Mannes und ihrer Tochter. Für die beiden habe ich den nämlich gemacht. Sie sind beide super kreativ.
… This sweet little guy lives now at my husband’s sister’s place. I actually made it for her and her daughter. Both of them are highly creative.
