Im Mai 2015 waren wir in Holland bei Freunden zu Besuch und machten einen Ausflug zu der kleinen, feinen Stadt Amersfoort, etwas nordöstlich von Utrecht. Es waren kaum Touristen dort zu der Zeit, aber man konnte schon draussen sitzen und Kaffee trinken. Ich lasse einfach mal die Bilder sprechen und schreibe Bemerkungen in die Bildunterschriften.
… In May 2015 we were in the Netherlands to see friends, and took a trip to the small, fine town of Amersfoort, a bit to the northeast of Utrecht. At that time there were hardly any tourists, but it was possible already to sit outside and have coffee. I will let the photos speak and will write remarks into the captions.
Die Häuser mit Gärten zum Kanal hin, waren alle so gut gepflegt.

Zum Abschluss machten wir eine Kanalrundfahrt in einem kleineren Boot. Ihr könnt an den Fotos sehen, wie sich da die Perspektive ändert … 😉

… With this almost southern air photo we are saying goodbye to Amersfoort.
Amersfoort ist eine schöne Stadt, die zu besuchen ich nur empfehlen kann. Sie ist übrigens gar nicht sooo klein … 😉

So wie du die hübsche Stadt mit Bildern und Worten beschreibst, habe ich mir Holland immer vorgestellt. Das Grün von Bäumen and rankendem Efeu, die alten Gebäude, die Kanäle. all das verstärkt meine Vorstellung von diesem schönen Land. Hab noch ein erholsames Wochenende, liebe Birgit!
