2021, nur mal so zur Unterscheidung … 2021, just for distinction.

… Selv sowed wild flowers. I had brought seeds back of those from Mallorca, These here came on their own free will. The rose in this pot (Dublin Bay“ had died.

… I think this looks like phlox, but it is supposed to be soapwort (?).

… The two grasses in the background have developed into fine plants.

… My miniature mint has survived winter again, and my gentian has not been totally eaten three times (yet).

… My husband wanted to throw this little push cart away, but I saved it and let the peas grow up there. We did harvest 6 to 7 pods. Next year I will sow more of them. I like to walk around in the garden and nibble.
… I dug out this perennial from under a hedge. I know it in lighter yellow and without the reddish centre.

… A perennial sweet pea, it grows back every year, of course with bumble bee.

… The little blackberry cutting I got from Ms Meermond has grown up and expanded in front and inside of my working space. Look at all the fruit that has developed!

… A beautiful little lily. I am generally not so much in favour of lilies, because they often attract these orange coloured beetles. They are quite pretty, but the brown snot that they put on the leaves to lay their eggs in looks quite icky. My neighbour says I only have to swat the beetles, thank you very much!!!

… I have never seen this little butterfly before. In the meantime I have found out that the Danes call it „den hvide V“, the white V. It was not willing to open its wings. On this site you can see a better photo of it (no. 18): https://www.dn.dk/nyheder/20-mest-almindelige-danske-sommerfugle-du-kan-se-i-din-have/ It has two small tails at the rear end, with which it wants to fool the birds, meaning that they are supposed to think that there is the head. 😉

… My little alstromeria, about which I am concerned every year, whether it will make it through winter or not This year, all the not hardy plants had to stay indoors a whole month longer. They dind’t like that at all.
Damit es nicht allzu viele Fotos werden, habe ich zwei Gruppen in Collagen zusammengefasst.
… I have made collages of two plant groups, to keep the number of photos a bit down.

… Hollyhocks: the tomato red one down, second from the right, has a strong fragrance.

… Hemerocallis: I think I „need“ some more … 😉
Last but not least mein Maisfeld, die drei Schwestern. Zwei Bohnen und diverse Snack Peppers haben gekeimt. Wenn die Paprika es vor dem Frost nicht schaffen Früchte zu reifen, werde ich sie ins Haus nehmen müssen.
… Last but not least my corn/maize field, the three sisters. Two beans and several snack peppers have come up. If the peppers don’t make it to ripen the fruit before the frost, I will have to take them inside.

Hier noch ein kleiner Film. Die kleinen Füchse mochten den Majoran …
… And here a little video. The small tortoiseshells really liked the Marjoram …
Das war der Juli im Garten. Ich wünsche euch einen guten August, ohne noch mehr Überschwemmungen und Waldbränden oder Erdbeben. Passt gut auf euch auf!
… So this was the garden in July. I wish you all a good August, without additional floodings, wildfires or earthquakes. Stay safe!
