Unsere Nachbarn flippen im Moment etwas aus mit den Lichtern an Häusern und Fahnenstangen, anscheinend ist das ein Bedürfnis. Wir haben eine Menge im Haus und in den Fenstern. Leider werden die Fotos nicht richtig gut, man kann nichts richtig erkennen. Ich muss das Kamerastativ ausgraben.

Das Halloween-Dorf Blenstrup hat sich dieses Jahr auch weihnachtsmässig in Schale geworfen. Nachstehend die Ergebnisse. Die Wiese mit den Bänken fungiert in Zivil als öffentlicher Picknickplatz.

Ja, nicht wahr? Und in dem Dorf haben sie sonst nie irgendwann grossartig geschmückt ausser den kommunalen Lichtern an den Strassenlaternen.

Das Licht ist in vielen Religion ein Symbol für Friede, Hoffnung, Erlösung von allem Übel in der Welt. So ist es meiner Meinung nach völlig angebracht, die Lichter im Haus und auch draußen leuchten leuchten zu lassen, so lange es nicht zu kitschig wirkt. Viele liebe Advents- und frühe Weihnachtsgrüße!

Ich finde es auch schön, besonders mit den neuen Lampen, die nicht mehr so viel Strom verbrauchen. Was hier sehr populär ist, ist den ganzen Rand des Dachs zu markieren mit runterhängenden kurzen Lichterketten. Aus den Fahnenstangen macht man grosse Weihnachtsbäume mit Lichterketten von der Spitze auf den Boden, einfach aber hübsch. Ganz typisch für Dänemark sind auch die siebenarmigen Leuchter in den Fenstern.

Ja, da hast recht. Ich freue mich auch, dass die neuen Lampen weniger Strom brauchen und leuchten genau so hell.

Yes, I think you are right. Especially people, who live in town may want to get this cosy spirit into their homes. It is really a dark time here. At 4 pm it is pitch dark.
