Die Bilder sind alle von vor dem Sturm und dem harten Sturzregen. Die Rosen sehen jetzt etwas gefetzt aus.
… The photos are all taken before the storm and the hard rain. The roses are looking a bit bedraggled now.

… This and the following three pictures I have taken from the balcony on first floor. From there one has a fine overview.

… I zoomed about in to the climbers. We will not be able to keep them in the containers forever.

… Today I have my focus on the southern end. The hollyhock that is flowering there, is one that sewed itself this year. It is rather unusual that it should flower the same year.

(Eine der wenigen meiner Rosen, die nicht richtig duften. Aber dafür behält sie ihre schöne Farbe auch im Verblühen und hält sich auch lange in der Vase)
(… One of the few of my roses that has hardly any fragrance. But on the other side it keeps the beautiful colour even when whithering and keeps well in a vase)

… Evening Primrose: this has a strong perfume, especially in the evening. This plant has also sown itself from the ones flowering in summer, and now flowers in the same year.

… Asters (the giant one from the first photo)

… This colour I had not seen before, I got it – like all of my asters – from my neighbour. This specimen I have multiplied only by sticking a few broken branches into the other flowerbeds. They have all developed into small bushes.

… All my low growing asters. The small green leaves down to the left is my chrysanthemum, which has not flowered yet (orange-yellow)

… The butterfly bushes are also still flowering. And the pink phlox in the background is in flower for the second time, after I have cut off the withered ones.

… A photo from the north end. To the far right asters in a beautiful blue colour. This sort is the very first in flower, and it is still going strong.

Last but not least a wild flower, which I always welcome in my garden.
