Oh, we are also indoors because of rain though it was completely festive atmosphere in India for the last two weeks. Many festivals for different communities, but because of covid everyone kept their activities indoors only.

It is not quite the same … can you imagine this festival when everybody splashes each other with water and throws coloured powder over you (I forgot the name of the festival), to have that indoors???

Yes, it is not the same. People are celebrating festivals just for the namesake or rather they are deeply religious. That is Holi festival, my favorite. You know I started Holi celebration in our apartment as it is a North Indian festival. In South it is not that much popular. We do a complete riot that day, knock out each door, threaten them to come and celebrate otherwise we will splash colours inside the house. Later, colours, water on each other, music, dance and munching homemade snacks. Holi is a complete fun day!!!

Für mich war Johann Wolfgang von Goethe ein sehr weiser Mann mit klaren Ansichten über die Liebe!
