Die innere Evolution … The inner evolution

Heute möchte ich einmal ein ganz anderes Thema anschneiden, und zwar eine Vortragsreihe von Dr. Bruce Lipton auf dem Gaia-Kanal mit dem Namen „The inner evolution“. Die Reihe ist in englischer Sprache.

… Today I should like to touch on a very different subject, and that is a series with Dr. Bruce Lipton on the Gaia channel with the name „The inner evolution“, in English language.

Dr. Lipton ist ein Biologe (spezialisiert in Zellenbiologie) und hat im Laufe seiner Karriere unter anderem mit Stammzellenforschung gearbeitet. In den letzten Jahrzehnten hat man enorm viele neue Entdeckungen im Hinblick auf Genetik gemacht. Aus diesen neuen Erkenntnissen ist dann ein neuer wissenschaftlicher Zweig entstanden, die Epigenetik.

… Dr. Lipton is a biologist (specialized in cell biology) and has in the course of his career among other things worked in the field of stem cell research. In the last decades, a lot of new discoveries have been made with regard to genetics. From these new insights, a new scientific branch called epigenetics has arisen.

Die Reihe ist noch nicht fertig, aber ich habe schon so viel Einblick in die biologischen Mechanismen erhalten, und damit auch eine Erklärung dafür, warum Pflanzen und Tiere sich manchmal sehr schnell an neue Lebensräume oder anderweitig veränderte Lebensumstände anpassen, schneller als es durch die Evolutionstheorie zu erklären ist. Ich habe früher schon manchmal gedacht, dass besonders bei Pflanzen die Anpassung recht schnell vor sich gehen kann.

… The series is not finalized yet, but I have already gotten so much information about the biological mechanisms, and also an explanation why plants and animals sometimes adapt very quickly to new habitats or otherwise changed circumstances of life, quicker than it can be explained by the evolution theory. I have sometimes thought that especially plants can sometimes adapt really quickly.

Ein Beitrag handelt auch um Kinder und wie ihre Gehirne in den verschiedenen Altersgruppen funktionieren. Das bestätigte mir auch meine Meinung, dass es viel zu früh ist, Kinder mit fünf Jahren schon in Vorschule oder Schule zu schicken.

… One part is on children and how their brains function in the different age groups. That confirmed for me that it is much too early to send children to school or pre-school already at five years of age.

Mein Mann sagt, dass man einzelne Beiträge auf Gaia mit anderen teilen kann. Falls jemand an dieser Serie interessiert ist, aber nicht Gaia abonnieren möchte (da ist eine Menge Bauerfängerei, wo ist das nicht, aber ab und zu findet man ein Goldkorn), dann würden wir diese Möglichkeit recherchieren, also wie das funktioniert und mit wie vielen Leuten man teilen kann.
