Diese beiden kleinen Waldstücke gehören zum Roldskov (skov = Wald), einstmals das grösste zusammenhängende Waldgebiet in Dänemark, nunmehr überholt von den Wäldern um die Seen von Silkeborg herum, wie ich gerade bei Frau Meermond lesen konnte.
… These two small areas belong to Roldskov (skov = wood), once the largest continuous wood in Denmark, now overtaken by the woods around the Silkeborg lakes, as I could read in Meermond’s latest post.
Letzten Mittwoch hatten wir 11 Grad Celsius am Vormittag bei starkem Wind. In meinen Augen ist das kein Strandwetter … 😉 … also suchten wir uns auf der Karte ein Stück vom Roldskov heraus, in dem wir noch nicht gewesen waren.
… Last Wednesday we had 11 degrees Celsius (51.8 Fahrenheit) in the morning and strong winds. In my eyes that is not beach weather … 😉 … so we looked on the map for areas of Roldskov, where we hadn’t been yet.

Als wir ankamen, sassen zwei ältere Damen und picknickten an der Hütte. Ansonsten begegneten uns nur ein Fahrradfahrer und ein Jogger. Doch nun lasse ich die Bilder sprechen:

Das erinnert mich an den Ausspruch eines Bekannten: „Was wollt ihr denn da? Da sind doch nur Bäume!“
… This reminds me of a remark by an acquaintance: „Why would you want to go there? There is nothing but trees!“
Die Veilchen blühen und dann dieses frische, helle Grün in den Laub- und Mischwäldern … das ist für mich der wirkliche Frühlingsanfang … 🙂 (Wir waren ein wenig im Grünrausch … 🙂 )
… The violets are flowering and then this fresh, bright green in the broadleaved forests and the mixed forests … that is in my eyes the real beginning of spring … 🙂 (We were in a kind of green intoxication … 🙂 )
