Langdal plantage (Langdal Forst) … Langdal forest

Dieses Gebiet umfasst fünf Rundwege von unterschiedlicher Länge sowie einen Rundgang in Fosdal, einem seit 1902 geschütztem Gebiet (ziemlich links auf der Karte). Gleich am Anfang, wenn man hineingeht rechts, liegt ein grosser Waldspielplatz.

… In this area one can walk five circular walks of different length, and one circular walk in Fosdal, a little valley that has been protected since 1902 (to the left on the  map). To the right of the entrance was a big nature playground.

Diese Höhle gehörte zum Spielplatz.               … This cave was part of the playground.

Wir haben die kürzeste Runde gedreht, denn trotz Sonne war es ziemlich kalt. Auch die Plantage, in der Fortswirtschaft betrieben wird ist wunderschön, schaut selbst.

… We only did the shortest round, as it was rather cold in spite of the sun. Also the „plantage“ which is partly used for forestry, is quite beautiful, see for yourself.

Hier kam man zu einem steilen, natürlichen Wall hoch, dem Lien. Zur Steinalterzeit ging das Meer bis zum Fusse dieses Walles. Von dort oben konnte man in der Ferne die Nordsee sehen.

… Up this path one reaches the top of a steep, natural ridge called „Lien“. During Stone Age, the sea went all the way to the foot of this ridge. From up there, one could spy the North Atlantic in the distance.

Die weissen Flecken an der Wasserkante ist das Tranum Strandhotel.

… The white dots at the water front are the Tranum beach hotel.

Erst dachten wir, dass da unten etwas brennt, aber es war nur ein Traktor, der ziemlich viel Staub aufwirbelte.

… First we thought that something was burning down there, but it was only a tractor raising a lot of dust.

Es gab natürlich überall Bänke, die meisten schon besetzt, aber wir fanden dann doch noch eine. Nachstehend die Aussicht von dort, nach links, geradeaus und rechts.

… There were, of course, benches everywhere, but most of them already taken. But we found one for us in the end. Below the view to the left, straight forward and to the right.

Und ein etwas merkwürdiges Foto von mir. Manchmal sieht man durch die Kamera nicht, was da alles mit aufs Bild kommt. Ich weiss ja, dass ich stachelig sein kann … 😉

Weit da unten waren drei wunderschöne Schwarze Pferde. Die standen da im Dreieck und schauten alle in dieselbe Richtung; da war aber gar nichts. Das sah schon etwas mystisch aus.

… Far down there where three beautiful black horses. They were standing in a triangle and all looked into the same direction; but there was nothing. That was a bit mystical.

Auf dem Rückweg kamen wir an einem Lagerplatz mit Feuerstelle vorbei.

… On the way back we passed this camp with fireplace.

Er gehörte zu dieser Hütte.                                                 … It belonged to this hut.

Diese Hütten werden immer populärer und zahlreicher. Ich glaube es passen so um die vier Leute mit Schlafsäcken hinein. Die eine Seite ist halt offen.

… These huts are getting more and more popular and numerous. I think about four people with sleeping bags would fit into it. One side is just open.

Dahinter ging eine enorm steile Treppe den Hügel hoch. Mein Mann fragte doch tatsächlich, ob ich da noch hochgehen wollte … 😉  😀

… Behind it, a very steep flight of stairs went up the hill. My husband really asked me, if I wanted to go up there … 😉  😀

Wir haben das Gebiet dieses Mal ja nur „angekratzt“. Ich möchte unbedingt mehr davon sehen, besonders Fosdal.

… We have only „nibbled“ at the area this time. I really would like to see more of it, especially Fosdal.
