Jedenfalls die Erde. Ich musste bis nachmittags warten, bevor ich etwas pflanzen konnte, alle Erde war hart. Im Schatten taute sie erst im Laufe des Mittwoch auf.

Ich habe irgendwo (ich glaube in einem Kommentar an Peter Klopp) behauptet, dass meine Kletterrose „The New Dawn“ Knospen hätte. Das sind keine neuen, sondern vertrocknete vom letzten Jahr! Das hätte mich auch wirklich gewundert …
… Somewhere (I think it was in a comment to Peter Klopp) I have boldly claimed that my climber rose „The New Dawn“ had buds. They are not fresh buds, but dried up ones from last year! It would have really surprised me …
Und dann diese Tulpe: … And then this tulip:
Ich habe behauptet, dass das eine „Tulipa sylvestris florentina odorata“ ist. Das stimmt nicht, es ist eine „Tulipa neustruevea“. Sie duftet aber trotzdem wundervoll, ein weiterer Kniefall hat das bestätigt. Ich bin nicht sicher, dass es legal für eine Tulpe ist, so einen betörenden Duft zu haben, wenn in ihrem Namen kein „odorata“ enthalten ist, aber das ist mir egal, ich knie und geniesse … 😉 😀
… I claimed that this is a „Tulipa sylvestris florentina odorata“. That is not correct, it is a „Tulipa neustruevea“. But she has a wonderful perfume nevertheless, another genuflection confirmed it. I am not sure that it is legal for a tulip to have such an enchanting perfume without an „odorata“ to its name, but I don’t care, I kneel and enjoy … 😉 😀
Das Aufräumen im Garten schreitet voran, ich habe die „Wege“ vom Unkraut befreit, damit man weiss, wo man die grosse Wanderung vornehmen kann.
… The cleaning up in the garden is progressing; I have freed the „paths“ from weeds, so that one knows, where one can go on the long trail.
Der Araukarie geht es richtig gut an dem sonnigen Platz.
The araucaria seems to do fine in the sunny spot.
Die grossen Kletterrosen werden demnächst in die Erde gesenkt. In die Mitte kommt noch eine dritte Kletterrose, dann wird das so eine kleine Hygge-Ecke mit Duft.
… The large climber roses will be lowered into soil soon. In the middle I will put an third climber; it is supposed to become a little cozy fragranced corner.
Währenddessen kümmerte der Gentleman sich um unser kleines Gefährt, hat ihm die Sommerhufe montiert und es ordentlich sauber gemacht.
… In the meantime the gentleman was taking care of our little vehicle, has mounted its summer hooves and cleaned it up.
Unser Band-Trailer steht jetzt erst einmal im Schuppen, gefüllt mit Sperrmüll, den wir nicht mehr loswurden, weil die Wiederverwertungsplätze geschlossen wurden. Dasselbe gilt natürlich auch für den Gartenabfall, den ich jetzt erst einmal im Gartentrailer und in Haufen „hamstere“. Jeder, der Gartenabfall benötigt, darf sich gerne bedienen … 😉
… Our band trailer is banned into the shed for the time being, fill with bulky waste, which we could not get rid of anymore, because the recycling places were closed. The same is valid for our garden waste, which I am now „hoarding“ in the garden trailer and in heaps. Anybody who needs garden waste, please feel free to take it away … 😉
