„An den Seen“ sollte es heissen, denn es sind derer zwei. Das war wieder eine Zufallsentdeckung, wenn es die gibt. Wir waren in der Umgebung unterwegs, ich glaube wir waren beim Hautarzt und hatten den Drang nach Bewegung. Viborg war nicht weit, und mein Mann wollte sich schon immer mal die Seen anschauen. Das Wetter war nicht so toll, aber wie ihr euch denken könnt, werden wir dort mit dem Rad auftauchen, sobald es etwas wärmer wird. Es gibt dort auch noch ein paar andere Dinge, die ich mir gerne ansehen möchte, wie z. B. die Domkirche im Bild oben.
… „and its lakes“ I should write, as there are two of them. This was again a kind of coincidence discovery, if there is such a thing. We had errands in the area, I think we were at the dermatologist, and felt like moving in fresh air. Viborg was not far away, and my husband had wanted to look at the lakes for some time. The weather was nothing to write home about, but, as you can imagine, we will reappear there with our bicycles as soon as it gets warmer. There are also a few other things I would like to have a closer look at, like for example the cathedral in the above photo.
Was in der deutschen Wikipedia verloren geht ist, dass Viborg eine der ältesten Städte Dänemarks ist.

Hier eine Übersichtskarte. Jeder der Seen für sich ist fast so gross wie die Aussenalster in Hamburg. Einigen von euch sagt das vielleicht was (2,8 km lang). Der nördliche See ist 2,2 km lang und der südliche See 2,3 km.

Wir sind am Ostufer des südlichen Sees spazieren gegangen, wir wollten ja nur mal ein wenig frische Luft haben. Unser Auto stand in der Nähe der Brücke, und wir sind bis zur südlichsten Spitze gekommen.

Natürlich gibt es überall am Weg Bänke, manchmal mit Tischen … die Vögel im Schilf sind Blesshühner.

Hier geht es zum neu angelegten Forstpark und zum Disc-Golf hoch. Beides haben wir noch zugute. Ich hatte keine Ahnung, was Disc-Golf ist. Die Wikipedia sagt, dass es das schon seit 1960 gibt. In Dänemark spielt man ansonsten auch Fussball-Golf.

Im Vildmose lassen die Enten einen nicht so dicht herankommen, nicht einmal die Stockenten.

Weiss jemand von euch, was das für Pflanzen sind, die bereits im Februar blühen? Es sind keine Hyazinthen. Diese breiten, krausen Blätter gehören dazu.
… Does anybody of you happen to know what these plants are, which flower already in February? They are not hyacinths. The large, curled leaves are part of the plant.
Der Badesteg. Dem gemütlichen Gentleman war es zu ungemütlich zum Baden … 😉 … Innerhalb des Stegs soll das Wasser flacher sein, ansonsten wird gewarnt, dass es sehr schnell tief wird. Die Wasserqualität hat die beste Note bekommen.
… The bathing bridge. The cosy gentleman thought it was too uncosy for bathing … 😉 … within the bridge the water is said to be shallower, otherwise they are warning that it gets really deep quickly. The water quality got best marks.
Diesen Picknickplatz haben wir vorgemerkt.

Links hinter den Bäumen den Hang hinauf liegt der Camping-Platz. Er soll einigermassen gross sein, aber vom See aus sieht man nichts, was ich ganz gut finde.
… To the left behind the trees and up the hill is a camping site. It is said to be rather large, but nothing is visible from the lake, which I like.
Wenn es wärmer gewesen wäre, hätte es mich gereizt, hier hinüber zu balancieren … 😉

Hier waren wir wieder beim Parkplatz angelangt und unser Spaziergang war zuende. Mehr von Viborg im Frühjahr/Sommer. Ich bin selbst schon gespannt.
