Dieser Ausflug entstand mal wieder aus einer Eingebung: lass uns mal dem Schild mit „Skovpavillon“ (Waldpavillon) folgen. Das taten wir und kamen zum Bælum Sønderskov (Bælum ist ein Ort und sønderskov = Südwald).
… This little excursion was again a result of a spur of the moment: let us follow the sign to „Skovpavillon“ (forest pavillon). That we did and came to Bælum Sønderskov (Bælum is a village and sønderskov = southern forest).
Ganz idyllisch im Wald liegt er, der Pavillon mit reichlich Parkplätzen, Küche und grosser Saal, wie wir durch die Fenster sehen konnten. Es sah fast so aus, als ob sich im ersten Stock Zimmer zum Übernachten befinden. Leider haben die keine eigene Webseite, alles läuft über den Bürgerverein. Ich werde also anrufen müssen um herauszufinden, zum einen, was es kostet und zum anderen, was dort vorhanden ist.
… The pavillon is situated in an idyllic place in the middle of a small forest, has lots of parking spaces, kitchen and a large hall, as we could see through the windows. It seemed to us that there might be dormitories on the first floor. The local citizen initiative administrates the house, who unfortunately does not have a website. I will have to call them to find out what it will cost to rent it and what facilities there are.

So ein Gebäude kann man ja für viele Dinge gebrauchen, wie zum Beispiel Musikabende mit Tanz, Filmabende, Bloggertreffen (!!!), Familienfeiern etc. etc.
… A house like that could be used for many occasions, for example musical evenings with dancing, film evenings, blogger meetings (!!!), family celebrations etc. etc.
Gleich daneben liegt der Kildesø (Quellensee), klein aber fein, sogar mit einer Insel und einer winzigen Brücke.
… Very close to it is the Kildesø (spring lake), small but fine, even with a little island and a tiny bridge.
Und die Bänke nicht zu vergessen … … and not to forget the benches …

Die Strasse durch den Wald ist nur ein Sandweg, aber trotzdem eine ganz normale Verbindungsstrasse, auf der man theoretisch 80 km/h fahren darf. (Es gibt hier noch viele solcher Wege.) Er scheint parallel zum Svanfolk-Hadsund Fahrradweg zu verlaufen (einer derjenigen, die auf einer niedergelegten Eisenbahnstrecke eingerichtet wurden), den man vom See aus sehen konnte (hinter dem Grünstreifen). Wenn man irgendwie aus beiden Wegen eine Rundtour mit dem Fahrrad machen könnte, wäre das toll. Das wird auf jeden Fall erforscht.
… The road through the forest is only a gravel road, but it is a completely normal country road connection, where in theory one is allowed to drive 50 m/h. (There are still a lot of this kind up here.) It seems to run parallel to the Svanfolk-Hadsund bicycle path (one of those constructed on an abandoned railway line), which we could see from the lake (on the other side of the green bit). If we could make this into a circle tour for the bicycles, that would be great. We will, of course, research it.
Ansonsten ging man durch einen sehr ansprechenden Buchenwald. Es handelt sich hier um einen zivilisierten Spazierwald, keiner wie im Vildmose.
… Otherwise we walked through some really pretty beech forest, in this case a civilized forest for leisure walks, not like in Vildmose.
O.k., nicht nur Buchen … 😉 … O.k., not only beeches … 😉
Die Bäume rechts werden wohl die nächsten sein, die einem Sturm zum Opfer fallen …

Hier noch eine Übersichtskarte. Es gibt in dem Wald drei kleine Spaziertouren. Wenn man die zusammenlegt kommt man auf 9,5 Kilometer. 😉

In unserer Gegend gibt es so viele dieser kleinen Perlen. Es wird noch eine Weile dauern, bis wir sie alle gefunden haben … 😉
