Nikos Kazantzakis hat einige sehr interessante Bücher geschrieben. Neben Zorbas der Grieche, hat er auch „Le Christe récrucifié“ (der wiedergekreuzigte Christus), „God’s pauper: Saint Francis of Assisi“ und eben „The last tempation of Christ“ (die letzte Versuchung des Christus) geschrieben. Letzteres wurde von Martin Scorsese zu einem wunderbaren Film gemacht (meine Meinung, manche, besonders die christlichen Kirchen, fanden ihn blasphemisch).
… Nikos Kazantzakis has written some very interesting books. Besides Zorbas the Greek, he has also written „Christ recrucified (or „The Greek Passion“)“, „God’s pauper: Saint Francis of Assisi“ and „The last temptation of Christ“. Martin Scorsese made the latter into a marvelous movie (my opinion, some, especially the Christian churches, found it blasphemous).
