So habe ich mein neuestes Bastelprojekt genannt, das ich nachstehend mit ein paar Fotos in der Entstehung wiedergebe. Mein Mann sagt, das wäre ein Kunstwerk, aber er ist ja nicht ganz objektiv, nicht wahr? 😉

Die Idee Flaschen aufzupeppen und weiterzubenutzen, z. B. als Vasen, habe ich ja schon länger, und ein paar schüchterne Anfänge wurden gemacht, indem ich vorhandene Details wie Wappen usw. hervorgehoben habe.
… The idea to pep up bottles and use them for something, for example as vases, I have had for some time now and a few shy beginnings were made by highlighting existing details like emblems or coat of arms.
Mein neuestes Projekt geht da etwas weiter. Es sollen drei Stück werden. Diese erste nun wurde zu „Starchild“, dem Sternenkind.

Ich wollte die Rückseite nicht mit allem möglichen vollballern, wie ich das bei Youtube gesehen habe, denn ich fand, dass die Haarpracht schon kraftig genug war. Da kam mir die Idee mit dem Stern und den Strahlen, was ja eigentlich sehr gut zu dem aufwärts gerichteten Gesicht mit den geschlossenen Augen passte. So hat sich das entwickelt.

Dann bekam alles eine schwarze Grundierung.
… Then the bottle got an over all black ground coat.
Danach eine Akzentuierung in Gold …
… After that an accentuation in gold …
Den Korken habe ich bewahrt, damit man in der Flasche auch u. U. Getränke servieren kann. Warum nicht, Gebrauchskunst … 😉
… I kept the cork, so that it is possible to serve drinks from it, among other things. Why not, usable art … 😉

Das Thema für die zweite Dame hat sich mir mitgeteilt, das wird die Meerjungfrau mit maritimen Details. Sie wird natürlich ganz anders in den Farben werden.

Für die dritte Flasche habe ich noch keine Idee. Ich habe das Gesicht und das Haar, aber weiter bin ich noch nicht. Vielleicht wird sie eine Waldfee, ja, hm, das könnte mir gefallen, mal sehen.
