Oh, Wunder! Ein Garten inmitten der Flammen.
Mein Herz kann jetzt jede Form annehmen:
es ist das Grasland für Gazellen und ein Kloster für Christen,
und ein Tempel für Götterbilder und die Kaa’ba der Pilger,
und die Tische der Torah und das Buch des Korans.
Ich folge der Religion der Liebe: welchen Weg die Kamele der Liebe auch wählen,
das ist meine Religion und mein Glaube.

Each religion teaches us faith and love for mankind. I never understand why this basic simple concept is so complicated for humans.

It might be because in many religions the so called spiritual leaders manipulate people to think that God(s) loves them best. It even happens in different groups of the same religion; they fight each other.

That is why I put it in “ „, because love is not religion, no priests, no hierarchy.
What I am trying to demonstrate – among others – is that in most religions originally love plays an important part. But then people start interpreting … 😉

Very true. Too many people assume that because one is religious, they are good, & vs versa, which is not necessarily the case at all…

Über mein Interesse am Sufismus habe ich von ihm gehört. Er hat anscheinend die heiligen Schriften für den „Mann auf der Strasse“ zugänglich gemacht, was natürlich die Obrigkeiten verärgert hat. Klingt irgendwie bekannt … 😉 … in meinen Augen sind die Sufis die Gnostiker des Islams. Da sie keine Autoritäten anerkennen, waren Gnostiker aller Religionen ja immer bei den etablierten Kirchen unbeliebt, bis hin zur Ausrottung.
