Eltern, die nicht unbedingt Sicherheit vermitteln …
Eltern, die man nicht immer respektieren kann.
Zurück in die Illusion, dass mit dem Erwachsenwerden alles besser werden wird,
Man selbständig sein wird, frei …

Nur um zu erleben, dass die eine Abhängigkeit der anderen die Tür in die Hand gibt …
Arbeiten um zu essen und am Leben gelassen zu werden.

Doch dann die wirkliche Freiheit …
Der Abschied von allen Ängsten …
Die Rückkehr zu Gott …

Kann ich verstehen. Das Thema beschäftigt mich auch dauernd, weil Angst in uns so stark ist und durch unsere Umwelt (Medien etc.) auch immer noch gefördert wird.

And so very true about swapping one dependency for another. Don’t know about anyone else but as I grow older I appreciate and understand my parents a whole lot more. I wish they were still around so I could tell them. 😥

I feel that I have more understanding for the „failings“ of my parents. I think when we are young we expect our parents to be perfect and are disappointed when they are not. Now I understand that they are also only human, with all that entails.

Wunderschöne, weise Worte. Die Erkenntnis, dass Eltern eben auch nur Menschen sind, trifft uns ja meist erst in der Lebensmitte. Ich denke, in Gott können wir gleichzeitig frei sein und uns behütet fühlen.
