Den Ostwald in Hobro haben wir entdeckt, als wir unseren Besuch zum Bahnhof bringen wollten, es aber zu früh war und wir dann noch ein wenig sightseeing machten.
… We discovered the Eastwood in Hobro when we took our visitor to the station, found out that we were too early, and went on a little sightseeing tour.
Wir fuhren an dem Kajakklub vorbei, an den ihr euch vielleicht noch vom letzten Hobro-Beitrag erinnert, wo es dann in den Wald hinein ging.
… We drove past the kayak club, which you might remember from my last post about Hobro harbour, from where the path entered the wood.
Hier ist Endstation für Autos. Ein Fahrradweg setzt am Fjord fort, aber er gehört zu der Kategorie „fahrradfreundlich“, was so viel bedeutet wie „schaff dir ein Mountainbike an“. Das ist nichts für unsere konventionellen Fahrräder und uns alte Knacker. Dadurch wurde das eine eher kurze Fahrradtour. Aber ich würde dort gerne mal zu Fuss entlang gehen.
… Cars cannot go further than here. There is a bicycle path continuing along the fjord, but it belongs to the category „bicycle friendly“, which basically means „get yourself a mountain bike“, nothing for our conventional bikes and us oldies. For this reason, the tour was rather short. But I would like to walk there one day.
Und dann war der Gentleman auf einmal weg … aber ich fand ihn schnell wieder … 😉 … er hatte einen idealen Picknickplatz entdeckt, direkt am Wasser.
… And then the Gentleman was gone all of a sudden … but I found him again … 😉 … he had discovered the ideal picnic place, directly at the water.
Auf dem Rückweg machten wir einen kleinen Schlenker einen Hügel hoch und entdeckten einen Kletterwald oder wie das heisst, wo man sich von Baum zu Baum schwingen kann, wie Tarzan. Nun, man schwingt sich nicht, man gleitet an Seilen, aber ich würde es trotzdem nicht machen … der Gentleman schon.
… On the way back we made a little detour up a hill and discovered a climbing wood. I don’t even know the correct German name for this, so I really don’t know the English … 😉 … a place where you swing yourself from tree to tree like Tarzan. Right, you don’t swing yourself, you glide on ropes, but I wouldn’t do it anyway … the Gentleman would.
Und hier ein Beispiel für die immer populärer werdenen Übernachtungshütten, die die so genannten primitiven Campingplätze (eine Grasfläche und sonst nichts) langsam und allmählich ablösen. Hier waren gleich zwei davon und ein überdachter Picknicktisch (da sassen Leute, daher habe ich ihn so durch den Baum fotografiert). Auf der anderen Seite vom Weg waren dann noch ein Grill- und eine Feuerstelle zum Kochen.
… And here an example of the hiker huts that are getting more and more popular and slowly replace the so called primitive camping sites (a space with grass and nothing else). Here were even two of them and a roofed picnic table (there were people sitting at the table, that is why I took the photo through the tree). On the other side of the path were a grill and a fireplace for cooking.
Hier zu wohnen ist schon recht idyllisch.
… It is rather idyllic to live here.
Dies ist die ehemalige Fabrik in der jetzt u. a. ein Institut für Erwachsenenbildung untergebracht ist von der anderen Seite gesehen als letztes Mal. Auf diesem Foto sieht man sehr schön die hinzugefügten Aussichtsplätze auf dem Dach.
… This is the former factory, which is now housing, among others, an institute for adult education, seen from the other side than last time. On this photo the additional view places on the roof are clearly visible.
Da könnte man es aushalten oder? Und es nicht weit zur Stadt.
… One could live in a worse place, right? And it is not far into town.
