Ich tue mich ein wenig schwer mit den diessonntagigen Weisheiten, aber ich gebe meinen Kommentar erst am Ende ab.

36) Diese Welt baut auf dem Prinzip der Gegenseitigkeit auf. Weder ein Tropfen Güte, noch ein Körnchen Böses bleiben unvergolten. Habe keine Angst vor den Verschwörungen, Täuschungen oder Tricks anderer Menschen. Wenn jemand eine Falle stellt, denk daran, Gott tut das gleiche. Er ist der grösste Verschwörer. Nicht einmal ein Blatt bewegt sich, ohne dass Gott darum weiss. Glaube einfach fest daran. Was auch immer Gott tut, tut er auf wunderbare Weise.
37) Gott ist ein peinlich genauer Uhrmacher. Seine Ordnung ist so präzis, dass alles auf der Welt in seiner zugemessenen Zeit geschieht. Nicht eine Minute zu spät oder zu früh, und das für einen jeden, ohne Ausnahme. Die Uhr funktioniert minutiös. Für alle gibt es einen Zeitpunkt zu lieben und zu sterben.

36) This world is erected upon the principle of reciprocity. Neither a drop of kindness nor a speck of evil will remain unreciprocated. Fear not the plots, deceptions, or tricks of other people. If somebody is setting a trap, remember, so is God. He is the biggest plotter. Not even a leaf stirs outside God’s knowledge. Simply and fully believe in that. Whatever God does, He does beautifully.
37) God is a meticulous clockmaker. So precise is His order that everything on earth happens in its own time. Not a minute late nor a minute early. And for everyone without exception, the clock works accurately. For each there is a time to love and a time to die.

Mein Senf: Das mit der Vergeltung kann ich noch nachvollziehen, denn das entspricht dem Karmagesetz oder dem Gesetz von Ursache und Wirkung. Aber Gott als Fallensteller und Verschwörer passt nicht in meine Gottvorstellung; für mich sind diese Begriffe negativ belegt. Wenn es in Punkt 36 darum geht, dass Gott allwissend und allgegenwärtig ist, dann finde ich das etwas merkwürdig beschrieben.
… My comment: I can follow the principle of reciprocity, as that is like the law of karma or the law of cause and effect. But I cannot envision God as trapper and plotter; these expressions have a negative meaning for me. If the meaning of point 36 is to point out God’s omniscience and omnipresence, I do find it described in a bit of a weird way.
In Punkt 37) sieht es für mich so aus als ob gesagt wird, dass alles im Leben minutiös vorherbestimmt ist, was meiner Meinung nach einem der früheren Punkte widerspricht (und meiner eigenen Überzeugung).
… In point 37) it looks to me that it is being said that everything in life is meticulously predestined, which in my opinion contradicts an earlier point (and my own conviction).
Ich frage mich, ob man es hier – wie auch in der Bibel – mit mehreren Leuten zu tun hat, die ihre eigene Ansicht in die Punkte haben mit einfliessen lassen.
