Ich spreche natürlich mal wieder von Aalborg …
… I am, of course, talking of Aalborg again …
Es war so kalt und ungemütlich (und Montag), so dass wir einfach mal in der Stadt spazieren gehen wollten. Auf dem Weg vom Parkplatz weg gingen wir in der Fussgängerzone und entdeckten eine Menge interessanter Cafes, die wir noch nicht kannten, unter anderem dieses:
… It was cold and uncomfortable outside (and Monday), so that we decided to go for a walk in town. On the way from the parking lot we walked in the pedestrian area and discovered several interesting cafes that we didn’t know yet, among others this one:
Auf dem Rückweg versuchten wir einen parallelen Weg zu nehmen, der uns über kleine Plätze, Durchgänge, Hinterhöfe und kleine Gässchen führte, die uns ganz vergessen liessen, dass wir uns in einer Grossstadt befanden. Seht selbst:
… On our way back we tried to take a parallel route, which led us over small squares, passages, backyards and narrow alleys, until we completely forgot that we were in a big city. See for yourself:
Diese winzigen alten Stadthäuser sind eher typisch für Orte wie Ribe oder Korsør.
… These tiny old city houses are more typical for places like Ribe or Korsør.
Wir suchten dann das Cafe von oben heim (ein Cafe namens Good Life Society) und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Man sitzt gut, es ist geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet und die Leute sind unheimlich nett. Sie haben Petitsfours!!!! Ausser Kuchen gibt es aber auch Snacks, die man vegetarisch wählen kann. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob „Good Life Society“ nur der Name des Cafes ist oder ob es eine Gesellschaft gibt, die so heisst. Ich konnte nichts dahingehend finden.
… We then invaded the cafe mentioned above (a cafe called Good Life Society) and were not disappointed. It is cozy to sit in with tasteful and loving design, and the people running it are very friendly indeed. They make petitsfours!!!! Beside cakes one can also get snacks, which will also be adapted for vegetarians. I am not sure whether „Good Life Society“ just is the name of the cafe, or there is a society of that name. I couldn’t find any information about a society.
Nächstes Mal müssen wir eines der anderen Cafes ausprobieren … oder auch nicht … 😉 … Aalborg ist ja eine Universitätsstadt, daher gibt es viele Jugendcafes, und die haben immer so spartanische, harte Möbel … 😉 … aber das Essen ist normalerweise überall gut. Cafe Peace (Boulevarden) kann man auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
… Next time we will have to try one of the other cafes … or not … 😉 … Aalborg is a university town, therefore there are many cafes for young people, and they have such spartan, hard furniture … 😉 … but the food is usually good everywhere. Cafe Peace on Boulevarden can be recommended.
Aalborg ist tatsächlich immer einen Ausflug wert!
